Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard & Report Development: Design and build advanced, interactive QuickSight dashboards and automated report-generation pipelines.

• Complex Data Modeling: Write and optimize complex SQL queries specifically tailored for high-performance reporting use cases.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Deploy, manage, and scale reporting infrastructure using AWS CDK.

• Data Integration: Integrate QuickSight with Amazon Aurora databases, ensuring efficient data retrieval and synchronization.

  Required Technical Skills

  • AWS QuickSight: Expert-level experience in dashboard creation, calculated fields, and reporting pipelines.

  • Advanced SQL: Proven ability to write complex queries for large-scale reporting datasets.

  • AWS CDK: Strong experience in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure via Python or TypeScript.

  • Amazon Aurora: Deep understanding of querying and integrating Aurora as a primary data source for BI tools.

  • General AWS Ecosystem: Familiarity with IAM, Lambda, or Glue (as they relate to reporting workflows) is a plus.
