Data/GenAI Engineer

Project-based (possible extension), joining a Professional Services team at an AWS Premier Tier Partner. The role focuses on delivering production-grade Generative AI solutions for clients, such as conversational assistants, document automation, RAG systems, AI agents, and AI-powered analytics platforms, working in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Build GenAI apps using Amazon Bedrock (Claude, etc.)

• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines with vector databases (Weaviate, OpenSearch, Pinecone, etc.)

• Create AI agents / orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Bedrock Agents)

• Design serverless AWS architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge)

• Build data pipelines, embeddings, ETL/ELT, monitoring, and optimize latency/cost

• Work directly with clients, document solutions, and troubleshoot production issues

Must-haves:

• Strong hands-on Amazon Bedrock

• LangChain/LlamaIndex or agent orchestration experience

• Advanced Python

• AWS Lambda / serverless in production

• Experience with vector databases

• LLM integration + prompt engineering

• API development (FastAPI/Flask)

Required experience:

• 5+ years in software engineering

• 2+ years of hands-on AWS in production

• 2+ years focused on AI/ML, data engineering, or cloud-native development

  1+ year direct GenAI experience
