We are currently deploying a DevOps Engineer to support a Terraform rewrite project, reduce infrastructure drift, and manage AWS infrastructure including EKS, ECR, and CI/CD pipelines. The role involves working on Helm charts deployment and improvements, enhancing observability, and collaborating closely with the customer’s technical team.

Responsibilities
Refactor and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
Optimize AWS environments, including EKS, ECR, EC2, RDS, and DynamoDB.
Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and ArgoCD.
Enhance observability and monitoring through CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Dynatrace.
Develop, maintain, and improve Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.
Implement infrastructure security best practices, including IAM policy design and threat detection with GuardDuty and other tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes.
Mandatory Requirements
Strong experience with Terraform (modularization, remote state management, drift reduction).
Advanced AWS expertise, including EKS, ECR, EC2, RDS, IAM, and networking (VPCs, Route53, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect).
Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including Helm chart creation and maintenance.
Proven experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and integration with Terraform and ArgoCD.
Strong observability skills with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Dynatrace (or equivalent tools).
Solid understanding of AWS security practices (GuardDuty, IAM, compliance).
Fluent English communication (spoken and written).
Ability to work independently in a fully remote, contractor-based setup.
Nice to Have
Experience with Karpenter for EKS autoscaling.
Familiarity with Commvault, Zerto, or AWS Backup solutions.
Exposure to CyberArk (Conjur) or Azure AD Connect Sync.
